Updated information for the row to Fambridge with the RBODs

Briefing 12 noon at RBYC race to Fambridge – details of course to be discussed

Picnic lunch at Marina or Yacht station or en route! Please remember to bring your own picnic as well as adequate clothing in case the weather turns.
We will berth in the same area as last year The dragons, ECOD’s, rowing boats, cruisers and motor boats should book in directly with Danyal at Fambridge Yacht Haven on 01621 740370 and state that they are with the RBODs
Supper in the marina club house at about 6.30pm, £17.00 per head for hog roast, salads and music please book with Chris Corrigan ASAP by texting on 07802 266062, so that we know how many to cater for. Tickets for the Hog Roast can be bought at the briefing from Chris Corrigan or Sylvia Hastwell.
There is no accommodation at Fambridge so you will need make your own arrangements to get home Saturday evening if you do not want to sleep on the boat !
Breakfast is available at the club house on Sunday morning but please tell the the clubhouse on Saturday if you would like breakfast in the morning

Everyone is welcome, scows, gigs, rowing boats, motor boats etc. or just drive there. You can at least, if you wish get home to your own bed at the end of the night!

This looks to be a fun trip. We have been invited to row up to fambridge with the RBOD’s. Once there there will be a bit of a party with food and drinks.
I need to look at the details a bit more, but I would guess we will be leaving the boats in fambridge and collecting them the next day.
I suspect the party will go on into the evening, so if anyone can offer lifts home that would be great 👍
