Hello,

We’d like to invite you to this year’s Round Osea Race, which will be on Saturday 16th
of June 2018, with the race starting at 14.00 – 14.15 .

The course, which is about 7 miles , will start from Stone Sailing Club, Tinnocks Lane, St Lawrence Bay , Southminster, Essex CM0 7NF .

There will be free camping and shower and changing-room facilities from the 15th (Friday).

There will be prizes for the winners, including the hard-won “Strength in Unity” trophy, for the bigger gigs. There will be food and drink available all day Saturday, starting with breakfast at 08.30.

Entry fee will be £12.50 per person which includes a meal after the race. Last year’s race was great fun, and we hope to see as many boats as possible this year.

You don’t need to register in advance, but if you could let us know you are coming, that
would be good. Please let us know if you plan to arrive on the Friday, so we can arrange a welcome for you. On the Saturday, you may bring your boat through the club to the beach from 08.00 onwards, and then park your car in the club’s car park.

Hopefully the weather will be kind to us.
