Here are some basic details for the GRR weeekend.
Friday 7th- the boats need to be taken to the start line and taken off the trailers ready for the start of the race Saturday morning.
The trailers then need to be taken to the car park at the finish line.
BBQ and live music at the finish line campsite Friday night.

Saturday morning a bus will collect us from outside the hotel (or campsite) and take us to the start line.

We then row back to Richmond for more celebrating!

It is up to you if you want to stay in the hotel for the weekend, camp or come up on the morning of the race. However, please remember this is a team effort so everyone is expected to help recover the boats at the end of the race. Nobody is to leave until the boats are secure back on their trailers which will not be until late afternoon, so please do not enter this event if you have other plans for the Saturday evening as I can’t guarantee what time you will get away.
Last year most of us stayed in the hotel which was MUCH better than camping. So this is what I intend to do again this year.

The price for this event is £60 for your space on the boat. £13 for the BBQ and live music. £17 for the bus to the start line.
The hotel I think was about £100 for two nights- but I will double check this.

Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served bases. If you have not paid your space can not be reserved.

If you would like to take part please pay directly into the club account.
£60 will secure your space. But we need BBQ and bus payment ASAP if you require these.

I will send you details of the hotel when I have the discount code.
