Hi all,
Lower Thames rowing club are rowing from Stone to Burnham on Saturday.
If we can get enough crew I would like to row out to meet them.
It will be a 5mile row against the tide and the wind just past Holliwell point. We will then drop anchor or beach until lower Thames reach us and return with the tide.
Obviously if Lower Thames are ahead of schedule we will turn earlier with them.
High water is at 1532hrs so I will ensure we are not back any later than that (although I am aiming for 1500hrs)
This will be a tough row out so will not be a gentle leisure row. I suspect it will take us about 2hrs to get out there but the wind strength and direction will effect this. We will need to lift anchor for the return journey no later than 13.30.
At the moment the wind is showing 9kts from the SE so will be against us on the way out- with us on the way back.

So who’s up for an adventure!!
