We have been watching the weather for this Sunday’s event all week, and all week it has held as the same

Therefore I regret to advise that we have had to call off this weekends Round 6 Race at Marconi

The NE Force 5-8 winds would mean it would be near impossible to row with the fetch right across from Tollesbury, and the Lee Shore along with surf on our hard could make matchsticks of our fleet.

The winds remain strong either side of our race day too, so it’s unlikely to significantly improve.

The Elettra crew look forward to seeing you all at Maldon RNLI row or round 7 at Burnham

I hope you can all find a nice pub to shelter in on Sunday instead!
