Race 2: Mens Race – Start 12.00
Race 3: Mixed Race – Start 12.45
We will announce results and do prize giving on the quay outside the Albion as soon as possible after the last gig is retrieved.
Launching will be from the Slipway at the end of the High st.
Geoff from the garage has offered the use of his forecourt and behind it to store trailers .Please remember that Cars/Vans must not be left on Stephen Cranfied close (they will be clamped) they can be parked at the social club a 10 minute walk away or the village hall.
Tides and launching/retrieval
Rowhedge is very tidal with a limited window for racing. We will launch as soon as there is sufficient water should be enough roughly 10.40 onwards –
Turn around in between races will need to be swift– men’s and mixed crews should be ready to swap over and row away as soon as Gigs return from the previous race .Changeovers can be done at the pontoon but remember others will still be racing as you approach and row off.
On completion of the final race Gigs should be retrieved as quickly as possible
Once boats are out of the water and on trailers please take them to Lion Quay (where the hut is) there is dropped pavements there and the bollard will be down so it can be accessed easily. they can be put there so they are out of the way and not blocking the roads.
Parking as always will be limited ,whilst the social club (old legion building) is closed at the moment we have permission for you all to park here. Please encourage people to park here. There is loads of room round the back . CO5 7ET
