We are still after crew for the race this Saturday. Please let me know if you are available. Please note the £20 per person which all goes to charity :-)

This race is the round Northy Island race is hosted by Row4AReason
This is an annual charity rowing event which takes place in Heybridge Basin, Maldon.

We will be leaving BOC at 09.00am to get to the basin to launch.
There will be staggered starts starting at 10.45am. Registration starts at 9am in the caravan by the Lock and finishes at 10.15am, half an hour before the race starts.
Minimum sponsorship £20.00 per person which must be paid on the day or at the time of registration in order for rowers to take part. If the minimum sponsorship per person is not paid on the day the rowers will not be able to take part in the event.

Whilst enjoying the spectacle you will also be enthralled with wonderful stalls including hand crafted local treasures, delicious food, chic clothing and of course the local beers and grog………………

Our Pirates of the Blackwater theme will be in evidence and we encourage all competitors and visitors to join in the fun and frolics with eye patches a minimum requirement……aaaaargh!!!

To date the event has raised in excess of £150,000 for local and national charities.
On the Sunday we hope to have a table top sale in the marquee next to The Jolly Sailor. Please feel free to enquire about a table (call Jane on 07885 795222) so you can come and sell your bric a brac!
