The Round Osea Island Rowing Race
This year’s Race will be on 24th June.
High tide is 13:40 so the race be a mass start at approximately 12:30
You may arrive from Friday evening or from 8am on Sat 24th.
Free camping is available or campervan in car park.
Please bring boats through the club to the beach with escort or come into club and ask for assistance,
Check Stone Sailing Club website for details of other accommodation.
Breakfast, Tea and Coffee etc will be available from 8.30am.
We are hoping to have a variety of rowing and paddling craft so there will be prizes for winners of all classes
The Harkers Yard Osea Island Challenge Cup and The Strength in Unity Trophy being the Main Prizes.
So far we have not awarded the single fixed seat trophy
This year the Bursledon Gigs will be back as will St Ayles Skiff, to Join Spirit and Harkers Yard Gigs Sliding seat boats are welcome too.
The post race meal is included in entry fee of £10 per person entered.
Prize giving will be as soon as possible after race is over.
