Good afternoon,

Following the success of our previous 2016 events, the Maldon District Council Leisure and Sports Development Team and Active Essex are pleased to announce that we will be holding another Sports Club Forum on Wednesday 18th January 2017 at the Dengie Hundred Sports Centre from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

The forum will be focusing on club funding and Active Essex will share with you 10 steps to constructing a successful funding application, along with providing you the opportunity to discuss individual projects and share valuable information on types of funding available in your area.

Club delegates will have the opportunity to meet the Maldon District Council Leisure and Sports Development Team and engage with a representative from Active Essex.

The Forum will provide an excellent opportunity for you to network with other clubs, benchmark what you currently do and potentially pick up some best practice to take back to implement at your club.

The Forums are free to sports clubs within the Maldon District but places must be reserved by emailing the attendee name and name of your sports club to either david.burnham@maldon.gov.uk or holly.winter@maldon.gov.uk
