An amazing opportunity has come up to purchase a spirit class boat.
This boat is brand new and will cost £6000
Jerry and Amanda would like to part sponsor the new boat to help make this club grow. There are also other sponsors which will all be correctly documented and available for all members to view.
The spirit class is very lightweight and can be lifted by two people. The oars are also carbon fibre so many of you may even prefer rowing this.
We will certainly not be abandoning Willow. We will still be training hard to bring home some silverware this winter. But having a spirit class will open up other races, make it easier to get the boat to more places for adventure rows and give us more opportunity to train as a club rather than one crew at a time.
We would like to progress this as quickly as possible but need your votes to go ahead.
