Ok- teams for this Sunday race…
We still need at least two more men to race or we will receive a 20pt penalty. We are currently 5th in the table so have a good chance of a podium position at the moment. With a 20point penalty we will have no chance of getting anywhere near that.

Timing of races on the hour: Ladies’ race: 10am, Men’s race: 11am and Mixed race: 12pm.
We thought it would be fun to also hold an additional race at 1pm; if there is enough time plus if you all wish to participate and the weather/tide permits. We would like to have a crew with each seat being occupied by a different club. If possible 2 women and 2 men per boat; with priority given to people who haven’t raced already. We would ask the Clubs that if they are happy to participate to provide a Cox for their own Gig; this is to ensure the safety and security of the crew onboard. This idea is to foster friendship and camaraderie between all of our wonderful clubs! We really hope you can join in with this as we are sure it will be brilliant fun!
All boats must have a VHF radio
Thank you all so much. We really look forward to seeing you all next Sunday. Please could you confirm as soon as possible if you will be participating so that we can ensure trailer parking for all.
Happy Rowing!
