Gig Race open to all fixed and sliding seat coastal rowing boats held as part of fambridge River Festival on Sunday 05th June.

Our first festival was a great success last year, this year it will be mainly based on the wharf overlooking the river and we are hoping the races will prove a great spectacle for our visitors. We will be opening the festival from 11.00am – 15.00pm and taking advantage of the large spring tide (HW 13.48pm) to provide other water based features and activities including dinghy sailing taster sessions.

Some of the attractions planned for the day are set to include a Thames sailing Barge, RNLI, HM Coastguard, historical sailing craft, Dutch barges, local maritime companies and more importantly LIVE music, a Bar and BBQ!!

Free camping, car and trailer parking and launching facilities are available at our Marina just minutes from the start line. Anyone wishing to camp will be more than welcome on Saturday or Sunday nights, with all shower facilities and clubhouse for food and drink on site.
