Well done to the Burnham on Crouch Coastal Rowing Club on a brilliant Harker’s Yard Winter Series 2023/24.

With Wren top of the leader board at the end of the season and Willow in an admirable 8th place, the highest placed 2nd boat in the series, there is much to celebrate.

Congratulations to our new race team members this year: Claire, Lucy, Frankie, Dale, Kev and Danny – nicely done all, hope you’ve enjoyed it, we’ve loved having you on the team.

The club is going from strength to strength, this achievement is only made possible by the hard work of our members.

So thank you to everyone that has supported the race teams, giving up their time to get boats onto trailers ahead of the races and off again, those that have towed, coxed, rowed, yelled from the side, those who have made up the numbers so boats could train, filled in paperwork and collected fees, those who have stood in to race, performed continual maintenance, gone to the Marina to bail out after bad weather, given their time to support the home event and taken part in fundraising, it really has been a proper club effort.

We celebrate the club’s 10th Anniversary this year – what a perfect start!
